Tue, June 1, 2004 - 8:31 PMWhat part of pittsburgh? What kind of bar do you like. I know shootz on the south side at tables and there is one in Sharpsburg on main street(I am blocking the name). But I go for the small places Pub in the Park (swissvale) has a table and a league. Plus I play steeltip darts and they have a board. There are others just give me a direction and I'll let you know.

Wed, June 2, 2004 - 3:29 PMI'm in the Mexican War Streets. I'm looking for some place I can bike or ride a bus to, as I don't want to drink and drive, but I do want to drink and play pool. I'm not really into any scene per say, just a mellow place with a table that people actually play on. -

The great thing is you live on the north side if you just cross a bridge to town you can get a bus any to any place
One of the places I remember having a table is the Attic 3609 Forbes Ave Pittsburgh PA 15213. This is Oakland. You have good bus choices. 54c goes from the North side to the strip to Oakland to the south side. If you walk to town any of the 61(a,b,c) or 71(a,b,c) will take you to Oakland.

I'll miss being a day's drive from burning man, but that's about all I'll miss. -

Be prepared for some strange stuff, like fries on salad, buying beer to go from the bar and not having to take a jacket with you when you leave the house on a summer evening, I'm still the only sucker in town dragging around a sweatshirt all night.
I got a cheap move from a couple of Russian guys that I found on Craigslist, let me know if you want the info. -

Fri, July 16, 2004 - 3:28 PMI was visiting there Christmas before last and was trying to figure out why trees were blooming in Decemenber. Then I realized it was just big snowflakes.
